Let’s talk about Peanut Butter Cream Pie and a GIVEAWAY, shall we? I made this pie from Joy the Baker’s Homemade Decadence cookbook I helped shoot and guess what? I’m giving away a copy on the blog this week! That means you could possibly win it! Go to the site (by clicking here) to get the full contest rules and details!

No one likes free stuff?!?!

I may be late to this whole Octoberfest party, but I’m still gonna celebrate with pretzels and beer because October isn’t over yet…so it should totally still count.

The weekend can’t come fast enough, but it’s a good thing we have these Pumpkin Cinnamon Sugar Doughnuts to hold us over. They’re up on the blog today, so we can feel better about having to work for two more days!

Everyone should go out and buy this book right now (on sale as we speak). Not just because I helped shoot and style it, but because it’s an insanely good book! If you don’t have it yet, you’re missing out!

Anonymous asked: Hey there! Hope you're having a good day/night. I was wondering if you have any recipes for pecan pie or caramel pecan cheesecake? :)

I’m currently working on one, so stay tuned!

Anonymous asked: Just wanted to drop a little note saying that you and Julian are a beautiful couple and you guys give me so much hope and inspiration that there is still beauty in an ugly world. Thank you for proving that love can be found, and its something that I aspire to have one day. Thank you.

Thank you so much. Probably the nicest message ever!

True or false: My favorite type of doughnut is a pumpkin doughnut? Trick question! All the doughnuts are my favorite!

I’m reinventing an old classic with this Shepherd’s Potato Pie. Buttery flaky pie crust filled with lamb and veggies and topped with thinly sliced potatoes, cheese and thyme. It definitely doesn’t get any better than this!

Get your pizza on (and eat some spinach while you’re at it).

Thanks food52 for understanding my love of pizza! Pizza party for life!

I’m here to tell you it’s okay to eat pie crust filled with meat, topped with potatoes and sprinkled with cheese. In fact, it’s the only thing we should be eating.

Because traditional shepherd’s pie just isn’t as exciting anymore. Let’s think outside of the box.
